The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority is a government authority which investigates accidents and incidents with the aim of improving safety for all citizens in Sweden. The authority consists of experts who work both at the office writing reports and on site – investigating accidents and meeting victims and relatives.

It was therefore important to create a visual identity that consists of equal parts warmth and trust. The color palette is inspired by nature and the different areas that the experts investigate – within the elements of sea, land and air.

There is also an urgent orange accent color – inspired by the black box of an airplane. The graphic illustration is a combined map with details drawn from the authorities’ different areas of investigation – Aviation, Maritime, Military, Rail and Others.
