Alkoholhjälpen and Droghjälpen are two independent organisations run by Beroendecentrum – offering online help and support for people with alcohol- or drug abuse.
The organisations were seeking a bold expression in order to catch attention on the smaller touchpoints where they need to be seen – for example on contact cards in waiting rooms. An important aspect was to find an expression that does not feel like public care or a hospital – to be able to reach a new audience and create a low threshold for seeking help.
The graphic shape of the logotypes represents the distance that an addiction can create to your surroundings – your family or friends. Alkoholhjälpen and Droghjälpen helps to overcome that distance, to fill the gap and create a new life without the addiction.
The monochrome color palettes allows for the expression to stretch from bold and eye catching to calm and simple, and also helps both differentiating and connecting the two organisations. The angled shape – used in both the logotypes and the graphic element – symbolizes a shift, a before and after the addiction.
