AIK had long been looking for a typeface that could encompass all aspects of the club and give a common expression to all 13 sports, from boule, to boxing, to football. We began our work by using the award-winning and iconic AIK shield to design a typeface based on the hand-drawn letters and numbers that adorn the emblem. 

The result was an elegant, powerful and beautiful typeface where the numbers and letters seem to come from different worlds, just like the club emblem. Designed and developed together with Richard Frank Studio and AIK.
